10:59 am, Officer out in the 1000 block of Broadway Street on an investigation. Issued citation for dogs annoying humans.
12:07 pm, Officers out in the 200 block of E. Polk Street on an investigation of possible child abuse & neglect and operating child care without a permit. A man and woman and transported to Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail in lieu of charges. The woman was found to have a warrant for theft from Greene County.
7:30 pm, The Police Department was called with information of possible child abuse occurring in the County. Information received and forwarded to the Sheriff’s Dept.
7:55 pm, Information received of possible illegal drug activity in Utica. The Sheriff’s Deputies were notified.
8:55 pm, a person came to the Police Department to surrender on a warrant out of Adair County for a non-moving violation. Bond was posted.
