A budget that includes $14.6 million in revenues and $13.2 million in expenses was approved by the Chillicothe City Council Monday. A public hearing was held prior to discussion by the council and approval of the budget. The budget includes a 3% cost of living increase.
The Council also approved the service contracts for the year. They include:
Chamber of Commerce $5,300
YMCA (including SPA) $35,000
Liv Co Extension $5,000
Main Street Chillicothe $30,000
Rotary Fireworks $4,000
Arts Council $5,000
Community Resource Center $2,500
Grand River Multi-Purpose $2,500
Riding With Our Veterans $500
Humaine Society $73,304
