Flushing of fire hydrants in the city of Chillicothe will begin next week. Chillicothe Municipal Utilities Water Department will be flushing and testing fire hydrants throughout the City, starting Wednesday, April 7th. The flushing and testing could possibly take two to three weeks to complete.
As a result of the flushing, customers could see cloudy or milky water conditions during this period – the cloudy or milky water conditions are normal.
