After more than a week, the number of cases of COVID-19 in Livingston county remains very low. Since March 24th, the Livingston County Health Center has reported only two new cases of COVID-19, and those two are active now. The total case count is 1436 as of March 31st. There is one person with COVID-19 that remains hospitalized. There are no cases at area facilities and none at area schools. The number of deaths in Livingston County due to COVID-19 remains at 51.
At the Chillicothe Women’s Prison, the number of COVID-19 cases are up slightly. There are NO active cases for staff, but the total for the staff is up by one to 120. For the offenders, the total is 300, with one active case.
