The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 99 calls for service Friday. Those calls include:
5:10 AM, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of West Business 36, resulting in the arrest of the 27-year-old driver for possession of a controlled substance. The driver was processed at the police department, cited, and released.
10:52 AM, Officer received a report of lost property at Simpson Park. The lost item was found shortly after and the item was returned to the owner.
10:02 PM, Officer received a report of an assault on a juvenile which they determined to have happened in another jurisdiction. Information was collected and forwarded to that jurisdiction.
11:08 PM, Officers responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of East Second Street. As a result, a 28-year-old man was arrested for driving without a license and possession of drug paraphernalia – methamphetamine. The man was processed at the police department, cited, and released.
