The races for the Chillicothe’s First Ward Council seat and the Chillicothe Rural Fire Protection District tax levy were decided in Tuesday’s Livingston County Election.
For the City of Chillicothe 1st Ward, Reed Dupy won on a vote of 189 to 129 over Michael Smith. Dupy says he is grateful for the votes.
For the Chillicothe Rural Fire Protection District, the voters narrowly passed the tax levy on a vote of 225 yes to 211 no.
