The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 89 calls for service Thursday. Some of the calls include:
6:38 am, a single Vehicle accident at the bridge at Polk and Broadway Streets. No injuries and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
12:13 pm, Officers responded to Washington & Curtis Street for a two-vehicle accident. No injuries were reported by anyone involved in the crash. Both vehicles were able to drive away from the scene. A crash report has been created.
2:42 pm, Officers investigated an accident where a truck struck the railroad overpass on W. Business 36. No injuries were reported and information was obtained.
3:09 pm, Report of a trailer coming loose from a vehicle and blocking traffic in the 1200 block of N. Washington Street. The trailer was removed from the roadway before Officer’s arrival.
4:07 pm, Report received that Missing individual subject has been located in a neighboring state and is OK. Message removed from the computer system.
5:35 pm, Subject in PD to report the theft of prescription medication from their belongings at their place of employment. A report was taken and the investigation continuing.
6:00 pm, Officers were called to a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street for a report of theft. Officers arrested a 34-year-old woman for felony theft and possession of controlled substance – methamphetamine as well as a 56-year-old male for felony theft, possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, and trespassing.
11:27 pm, Officers out in the 300 block of Webster Street assisting the Sheriff’s Department on a warrant service. A 37-year-old was arrested on 3 counts of receiving stolen property and parole violation. The person was transported to the Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail.
