Spring turkey hunting season begins Monday the 19th and continues through May 9th. Lt. Ken Polley with the Northwest Region of the Missouri Department of Conservation. The hunting season is a half-hour before sunrise to 1:00 p.m.
Polley says all hunters need a valid spring turkey permit, and there are limitations.
He says there are a variety of ways to take turkeys.
