The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 111 calls for service Wednesday. Some of the calls include:
7:06 am, Officer speaking with person that had 4-wheeler taken from a yard in 400 block of St. Louis Street. 4-wheeler was located nearby and they no longer wished to pursue the matter.
10:30 am, Call from the 1700 block of Deringer Drive on a report of suspicious activity. Subjects were contacted and trespassed from the property.
2:58 pm, Dogs running loose in the 700 block of N. Washington Street. Dogs returned to the owner in the 500 block of Walnut Street.
3:27 pm, Report of an assault to a juvenile in the area of State and Calhoun Street. The victim reportedly was choked from behind. The suspect was identified; the investigation continues.
4:05 pm, Officer monitoring traffic in the Litton Road area. twelve vehicles observed for speeding violations and average speed of 28mph was observed.
9:09 pm, Call of possibly suicidal juvenile subject armed with a shotgun in the area of Third and Grandview. The subject was contacted and taken into juvenile custody, transported to Hedrick Medical Center for evaluation and treatment. No one was injured in the incident.
