Chillicothe R-II School District’s Teacher of the Year and Beacon Award winners and candidates were honored at a dinner for the Chillicothe Education Foundation. Superintendent Dan Wiebers says this is a great opportunity to recognize those individuals
The Dinner is also a fundraiser for the Foundation and Chair Ed Douglas says it is an important event.
He says in addition to the funding for teachers and classrooms, the Foundation has helped in other ways.
They were also the group that collected donations that helped to build the new Litton Stadium.
