The Chillicothe Lady Hornets Soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss at Bishop LeBlond.
The only goal came in the 48th minute. Chillicothe goalkeeper Allie Italiano had another strong game with nine saves.
Coach Jimmy Chapman said the Lady Hornets are “playing really well right now, but can’t seem to catch a break.” He said his team will continue to battle, and are very close to breaking out. The Varsity team is now 8-6 overall and 1-2 in the Midland Empire Conference.
The Junior Varsity Lady Hornets returned the favor to LeBlond with a 1-0 win thanks to an Avery Baxter goal. Hadley Beamer had three saves.
The Varsity’s next match is next Monday at Benton. The Chillicothe Junior Varsity has a home game against St Paul Lutheran of Concordia in a Junior Varsity match only.
