A report of a fire with people still inside summoned Chillicothe fire Fighters Sunday morning. The call to 221 Herriford came in about 4 am and the fire department arrived in 6 minutes to find everyone was out of the house and the fire was out.
The fire crew removed a couch that had burned to the front yard and used a water extinguisher to put out any remaining embers.
No injuries were reported. The crew was on the scene for 13 minutes.
