The move of the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department to the south side of the Chillicothe Police Department building has begun. Sheriff Steve Cox says they hope to complete the move on Monday. Cox says this will allow the departments to work together more efficiently.
Cox says the move will disrupt some of the administrative duties of their office.
He says the day-to-day operations will continue as normal.
The move of the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department and the return to normal office hours at the new location should be complete by May 17th.
