Three former Chillicothe Hornet track athletes did well in the MIAA track meet over the weekend.
Jesse Miller finished 4th place in the High Jump with a mark of 6′ 8″ Miller finished 3rd in third in Long Jump with a mark of 24′ 5.75″ and finished 5th in the triple jump at 49′ 1″
Brett Shaffer had a personal best in the 110 hurdles in the meet. Shaffer ran a time of 14.48 which was also an NCAA provisional qualifier and was sixth place in the prelims. He finished seventh in the finals at 14.82.
Shaffer also ran below 54 seconds for the first time in the 400 hurdles, finishing sixth in a time of 53.97.
Isaak Rasche was a member of the 4×100 relay team that finished seventh in the conference meet in a team season best time of 42.71.
