The Chillicothe Hornets golf team finished in the middle of the pack at the Class 3, District 4 Golf Tournament at Fairview Golf Course in St Joseph.
Bishop LeBlond won the event easily with a team score of 301, with Kirksville second with a 349.
Chillicothe was seventh out of 14 complete teams with a 378, just two strokes behind St Pius and seven strokes behind Oak Grove.
Chillicothe also missed out on any of their players making the qualifying cut. The top seventeen individuals made the cut. A Bishop LeBlond golfer shot a 1-under 71 to win individual medalist honors. They also had a golfer tied for second, one in fourth and one tied for seventh.
Chillicothe was led by a 90 by Colby Gillespie and Jackson Trout, just three strokes behind the individual player cut off. James Mathew shot a 94, Spencer Shira a 104 and Dalton Ripley a 119 for 57th out of a field of 74 golfers.
