The number of COVID 19 cases in Livingston County continues to surge. Ann Burchette from the Livingston County Health Center says 17 cases were added Monday, bringing the total number of cases for the county, including the Chillicothe Correction Center, to 1814. The number of active cases in the county has reached 43.
Burchette says they are not seeing any link to a specific facility or location causing the increase.
Because of the increase in the number of cases, the Health Center is starting to update the case count daily. The information can be found on their Facebook page.
If you have not received the COVID-19 vaccine, you are urged to consider receiving the vaccine. The Health Center has the vaccine available on a walk-in basis.
