A Linn County man was arrested on 36 counts that include, alleged Child Molestation with a victim under the age of 12, Statutory Rape of a child under the age of 14, Rape or Attempted Rape, Statutory Sodomy with a person under the age of 14, and Patronizing Prostitution 18 years and older. Forty-one-year-old Jason Jones of Forker, MO was arrested on May 13th for alleged crimes that date back nearly 10 years. (07/2011)
The Probable Cause statement from the investigation and prosecution has been sealed by court order to protect the victim’s identity and privacy.
In the arraignment, Jones entered a plea of not guilty. He remains in custody.
