The roadwork scheduled to begin today on Daviess County Route D is postponed to Monday. The Missouri Department of Transportation says local MoDOT maintenance crews had planned to close Daviess County Route D to apply a seal coat to the roadway. The work has been postponed due to rain and is now scheduled for Monday, May 24 through Wednesday, May 26, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. During the closure, motorists will need to use an alternate route.
MoDOT also delayed the culvert replacements on Route Y in Daviess County. Road closures had been planned for Route Y between Route 6 and Reel Avenue to replace a culvert. The work has been postponed due to rain and is now scheduled for Thursday, May 27, from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. During the closure, motorists will need to use an alternate route.
