One of the two people that had serious injuries in the accident Sunday near Avalon has died of his injuries. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 75-year-old Charles Plummer of Hale died Monday at Liberty Hospital.
The condition of the other victim, 63-year-old Sue Bachman, is not known.
Plummer was driving a UTV and was stopped on Route JJ when he was struck from behind by a pick-up driven by 33-year-old Steven Wilson of Chillicothe. Wilson has since been charged with alleged DWI -resulting in the death of another and DWI – resulting in serious personal injury. Bond has been set at $50,000 Cash Only.
