State Troopers report one accident and several arrests in the area counties for the Memorial Day Weekend. They include:
Sunday morning, an accident was reported in Sullivan County that left a passenger with minor injuries. According to the report, a van was southbound on Highway 5 near Pollock and ran off the road when the driver, 35-year-old Sarafina S Marar of Marshall, fell asleep, striking a guardrail. Her passenger, 27-year-old Surmina Masami of Marshall had minor injuries and was treated at Northeast Regional Medical Center.
Arrests include:
Friday, at about 5:00 pm, Troopers In Daviess County arrested 77-year-old David Chung of Hot Springs, Arkansas for alleged speeding, failure to signal, and on a Bates County traffic warrant. He was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
Friday at about 9:40 pm in Livingston County, Troopers arrested 18-year-old Beau Ireland of Trenton for alleged possession of a controlled substance, possession of Marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, minor visibly intoxicated, minor in possession of alcohol, and person under 21 in possession of an altered form of legal ID. He was processed and released.
Saturday at about 8:30 pm in Sullivan County, Troopers arrested 33-year-old Jessica Henness of Green City for alleged DWI – persistent offender and speeding. She was held at the Sullivan County Jail.
Sunday at about 12:20 pm in Livingston County, Troopers arrested 37-year-old Megan R Wilson of Kansas City on three Jackson County warrant. She was processed and released.
Sunday at about 5:25 pm in Carroll County, Troopers arrested 36-year-old Rachel B Riggins of Lebanon, MO for alleged DWI with drugs. She processed at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital and released.
