Two accidents in the area counties were investigated by the Missouri Highway Patrol Tuesday.
In Daviess County, a Plattsburg woman had minor injuries in an accident on Highway 6 near Jamesport. According to the report, 44-year-old Jennifer Birdsong of Platsburg was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton for treatment following the accident that happened when 65-year-old Ronald Pollard of Breckenridge began to pass the Birdsong vehicle as she began to make a left turn and was struck on the driver’s side by the pick-up and trailer. Pollard was not injured.
In Livingston County, an accident at LIV 239 and LIV 224, northwest of Chillicothe, left a 93-year-old man with minor injuries. According to the report, shortly after 6:00 pm, a 16-year-old boy from, Chillicothe was northbound on LIV 239 and 93-year-old Charles Radcliff of Chillicothe was eastbound when the vehicles collided at an uncontrolled intersection. The teen was not injured. Radcliff was taken to Hedrick Medical Center with minor injuries.
