A donation of 35 acres of land to the City of Chillicothe from the Jenkins Foundation was approved by the City Council. The City Attorney, Robert Cowherd, talked about the land.
Economic Developer Terry Rummery says it is a piece of property that has had interest by several prospective businesses.
The council accepted the donation on a 4/0 vote.
