The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 95 calls for service Wednesday. Some of the calls include:
12:19 am, A subject called PD and reported a resident of Chillicothe was suffering anxiety issues and possibly going to injure themselves. Officers began a search for the subject and located them in their vehicle. Officers made contact and the person became very belligerent with and resisted Officers. The person was taken into custody for DWI, Driving while suspended, Resisting detention or arrest, and Assaulting Law Enforcement Officers. They were eventually transported to Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail on a 24-hour hold.
8:17 am, Officer assisting Children’s Division on an investigation.
1:40 pm, Officers responded to a report of theft from a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street. Officers arrested a 61-year-old woman from Trenton for stealing from the business. She was processed, cited, and released.
7:46 pm, Investigation of reported harassment in the 1000 block of Third Street, led to a vehicle stop at Second and Cherry Street. The driver was taken into custody for driving without a license. They were cited and released.
