The number of COVID-19 cases in Livingston County topped 1800 last week and the number of current cases is also rising. The Livingston County Health Center says there were 1811 cases total for Livingston County, and there are 132 active cases. The health center continues to urge residents to get vaccinated and has walk-in COVID vaccine clinics each Tuesday and Thursday, during normal office hours.
Health Center Director Sherry Weldon says we need to continue to take precautions to prevent the spread of the virus.
If you have been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with the virus, contact your healthcare provider and ask about being tested. You could have the virus and be contagious to others before you start showing signs.
