Busy Weekend For The Chillicothe Police Department

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 240 calls for service from Friday through Sunday.  Some of the calls include:

Friday

1:14 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a possible burglary in the 1400 block of Alexander St.

7:25 a.m., Officers were dispatched to possible stealing in the 400 block of Madison St.

11:28 a.m., Officers were dispatched to threats in the 2600 block of Fair St.  The investigation is on-going.

4:36 p.m., Officers took a report of violation of a protection order.  A suspect has been identified and charges are pending.

9:37 p.m., Officers were dispatched to assist a citizen with removing a snake from their garage in the 500 block of Peacher St.  Officers provided the assistance.

 

Saturday

9:20 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a possible domestic disturbance in the 300 block of W. Bus. 36 Hwy.

11:20 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a dog running-at-large in the 500 block of S. Washington St.  The dog was caught and taken to the animal shelter.

12:18 p.m., Officers received a report of possible operating a business without a business license.  The investigation is on-going.

8:26 p.m., Officers took a report of stealing in the 300 block of Calhoun St.  The investigation is on-going.

9:15 p.m., Officers arrested a 21-year-old male for distribution of tobacco to a minor and endangering the welfare of a child second degree.  The male was processed at the Police Department and transferred to the Daviess-DeKalb County Regional Jail pending the filing of formal charges.

Sunday

1:48 p.m., Officers were dispatched to an unattended child in the area of Webster St. and Highland St.  Officers located the child unharmed and the parent.
