A Chillicothe man had serious injuries in an accident Sunday evening, south of Chillicothe. Troopers report 37-year-old Dustin Holtzclaw was flown to Truman Medical Center for treatment. According to the report, Holtzclaw was southbound, three miles south of Chillicothe, and crossed the center line and struck a trailer towed by a northbound pick-up. Holtzclaw’s car overturned and came to rest on the passenger side.
An accident near Kidder Sunday night left two teens injured, one with serious injuries. The accident happened when a northbound vehicle on Route J, north of Kidder, ran into the driver’s side of a horse-drawn vehicle. The driver of the buggy, 19-year-old Naomi Herschberger of Kidder had serious injuries and a 16-year-old in the buggy had minor injuries. They were treated at the scene but refused further medical treatment.
A two-vehicle accident Monday morning near Wheeling left both drivers with minor injuries. State Troopers report 28-year-old Marina Munday of Trenton was westbound and failed to stop. Pulling into the path of a northbound vehicle driven by 51-year-old Travis Summers of Hale. Munday was taken to HedrickMedical Center for treatment. Summers sought his own treatment.
