Two Chillicothe residents were arrested Tuesday on warrants for alleged Abuse or Neglect of a Child. Sheriff Steve Cox says Deputies and Police Officers served the warrants in the 200 block of East Bridge Street on 27-year-old Donnie Clay Matheson and 26-year-old Heather Louise Woods.
This case was initially investigated by the Chillicothe Police and Missouri Fire Marshal’s Office.
Woods’ warrant was for three counts of alleged Abuse or Neglect of a Child – No Sexual Contact. The warrant for Matheson is for 3 counts of class B felony alleged Abuse or Neglect of a Child-Serious Emotional or Physical Injury-No Sexual Contact. Bond for each is set at $15,000. They were processed at the Law Enforcement Center and transferred to Davies Dekalb Regional Jail.
