For those not familiar with 7-on-7 summer league games, the rules include a field of 40 yards like, 53 yards wide and a ten yard deep end zone. There is no kicking or punting, possession beings at the 40 yard line, offenses always move in the same direction and no player may run with the ball from a scrimmage play. The offense has four plays and must gain 20 yards for a first down. The QB had four seconds to throw the ball. 7-on-7 summer games are designed to help teams work on the passing offensive game and pass defense.
