The Chillicothe City Council approved the start of Flood Mitigation Study. City Administrator Darin Chappell, who attended the meeting remotely, told the Council Monday, the flooding problems around the community become worse as the development of property continues. He asked to have an engineer come and look into the issues faced by the city.
The council agreed to begin the process. Chappell will begin by checking on the cost to have the evaluation done and report back to the council.
