Hallie Jones shot a 93 to lead the Chillicothe Lady Hornets Golf team to a fifth place finish out of 14 teams in the St Joseph Central Golf Tournament. Jones, who shot a 48 and a 45, finished tenth out of 70 players. She shot par on holes nine and 17.
Riley Bropst shot a 105 for 20th place, Gabby Hapes in her first varsity tournament shot a 113 with a par on the tenth hole and finished 26th overall.
Maddie Lamp shot a 114 for 28th place and Hannah Haakonstad shot a 119.
As a team Chillicothe shot a 425. Staley High School won the event with a 355. Chillicothe improved one place over their 2017 tournament appearance.
A Liberty golfer was medalist with a 76.
