Flooding continues on the Grand River at Sumner. Moderate flooding is reported this morning as the river is falling slower than expected. The crest was Monday at 32.8 feet. The reading this morning was 28.75 feet and the river is expected to fall back below flood stage of 26 feet today.
At Brunswick, the river is near the crest with a reading Tuesday at 19.5 feet. Flooding is expected to continue into this afternoon when the river falls back below flood stage of 19 feet.
Additional rainfall later this week could cause additional flooding.
