Two people were injured Sunday afternoon in a one-car accident in Daviess County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a car was on Daviess County Route KK, 3-miles north of Winston when the car swerved, overcorrected and drove off the south side of the road, and hit a barbed-wire fence.
The driver, 18-year-old Hannah Hullinger, and the passenger, 18-year-old Teagan Caldwell, both from Winston, both suffered serious injuries. Hullinger was taken to Liberty Hospital and Caldwell was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center.
