The Chillicothe Police Department responded to more than 150 calls for service over the weekend. Some of the calls include:
Sunday
1:31 AM, Officers responded to the 800 block of Broadway Street, in reference to stealing. The investigation continues and no suspects have been identified at this time.
6:30 AM, Officers responded to the 1700 block of Derringer Drive for a report of horses lose. Officers were able to catch the horses and place them back in the pasture.
7:11 AM, Officers responded to 500 Vine Street in reference to a deceased person. Upon investigation, it was determined by the Coroner the individual died of natural causes.
4:14 PM, Officers took a report possible child abuse that occurred in the 90 block of 11th Street. The investigation is ongoing and a suspect has been identified.
Saturday
11:07 AM, Officers received a report of slashed tires in the 300 block of Jackson Street. The investigation is ongoing, a suspect has been identified.
2:57 PM, Officers responded to the area of Miller and Springhill Street for an open door to a building. Officers checked the property and contacted the owner to secure the building.
6:45 PM, Officers responded to the area of Simpson Park in regards of a stolen wallet. The investigation is ongoing, a suspect has not been identified at this time.
