The Chillicothe R-II School Board approved a tax rate of $4.7053 per $100 valuation for 2021. Prior to the school board meeting was a Tax Rate Hearing, where there were no comments from the public or the board on the proposed tax rate. Superintendent Dan Wiebers says this rate is expected to create revenues about $300,000 higher than last year.
Total revenues expected from the levy are $7.067 million dollars.
