A Float Trip on The Grand River will be September 16th. The program is presented by the Missouri Department of Conservation and is for those 14 and older, that have some canoe and kayak paddling experience. Adam Bransgard from the MDC talked about the planned trip.
Bransgard says you are encouraged to provide your own canoe, kayak, paddles, and lifejackets. If you need equipment, they will have it available to use.
Floaters must bring their own food and drinks, including plenty of drinking water. Social distancing will be observed. Face coverings are optional.
He says depending on river conditions, the plans may change.
