Chillicothe Police had a busy day Tuesday, with 152 calls for service. Some of the calls include well-being checks, traffic stops, and continued investigations. Items in the report include:
1:32 am, Report of property damage when a person in a passing car threw a bottle at another car. The bottle broke a tail light on the victim’s car.
1:38 am, A resident of the 1700 block of Fairchild Street called the Police after being awakened by the sound of a tree crashing to the ground and falling on a parked vehicle. The Street Department came to the scene and cut up the tree and removed it from the roadway.
7:27 am, Two-vehicle, minor injury vehicle crash at Mo. 190 and N. Washington Street. The northbound vehicle failed to yield right of way to a southbound vehicle, when it was making a left turn. The vehicles were driven from the scene.
8:03 am, Suspicious person in an alley in the 700 block of Elm Street. Officers checking found the subject to be wanted on a Livingston County arrest warrant.
10:09 am, Officer to a minor vehicle accident on a parking lot in the 1000 block of Graves Street.
10:37 am, Officers took a call about an attempted scam involving a phone threat of the victim going to be arrested and wanting information from the victim. Chillicothe Police recommend that you don’t provide your personal information to these people. Hang Up!!!
3:48 pm, Check well-being of a child in a car seat in a car by themselves on the parking lot in 1000 block of Graves Street. A relative was located present outside the car and the child was OK.
8:36 pm, Officers assisting Sheriff’s Department in looking for a person north of town. The person ran into woods. Officers were unable to locate the subject.
