An accident near Chillicothe and an arrest in Linn County are In the Highway Patrol Report.
A teen from Chula was injured in an accident Monday evening north of Chillicothe. State Troopers report the accident happened about 5:35 pm on LIV 228 at LIV 237. According to the report, a 17-year-old from Chula was westbound on LIV 228 and failed to yield to a vehicle south on LIV 237, driven by 32-year-old Cody Feeney of Chillicothe, resulting in a crash. The report states the teen struck the left rear of the Keeney vehicle and the teen’s pick-up overturned, coming to rest on its top. Keeney’s vehicle came to rest in the ditch.
The teen was not wearing a safety belt and was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton for treatment of minor injuries.
A Brookfield man was arrested by State Troopers Monday afternoon. According to the report, Troopers in Linn County arrested 28-year-old Mark Robinson of Brookfield for alleged DWI, speeding, and no seat belt. He was processed and released.
