Three Chillicothe Hornet Soccer players turned in exceptional performances in an 8 to 0 win over the Cameron Dragons.
Drake Cosgrove, Chace Corbin and Sam Reeter all had a hand in the eight goals.
Cosgrove scored in the 7th, 14th, 24th, and 33rd minute.
Corbin scored in the 11th, 27th, 35th and 43rd minutes and had two assists.
Sam Reeter had six assists in the contest.
The Hornet defenders also played key rolls. While Chillicothe Goalkeeper Jaxon Albertson needed no saves thanks to his defender teammates help the Hornets pick up the shutout win.
Hornets Coach Tim Cunningham called it an “outstanding team performance.”
He said “Cosgrove, Corbin and Reeter buzzed in and around the attacking 3rd all match. Their incredible talent and skill was on full display, as was their willingness to look for each other.”
Next up for Chillicothe Soccer is perennial powerhouse Marshall, Thursday on the road.
