The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department report includes several incidents and arrests for the latter half of August.
August 24th, LCSO investigated a report of property damage in the 5000 block of LIV 245
August 28th, about 9:43 p.m. LCSO responded to the Chillicothe Grand River Access to assist the Conservation Agent on a request for backup. Investigation resulted in the arrest of 46-year-old Jason Marc Grandstaff of Polo for alleged Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Resisting Arrest.
August 29th, at about 8:13 pm. LCSO responded to a report of domestic violence and property damage on old highway 190. The victim was visiting a friend when an ex-boyfriend reportedly showed up and requested she leave with him. The suspect reportedly physically assaulted the victim then left the home and allegedly sliced tires on the victim’s vehicle before fleeing. Daviess County authorities located the suspect and arrested 38-year-old Ryan Patrick Arnold of Hamilton.
The afternoon of September 2nd LCSO was in Wheeling on a criminal and fugitive investigation and located a felony fugitive. A brief foot chase resulted in the arrest of 33-year-old Brandon Scott Simpson on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Violation of Bond Conditions with bond set at $20,000.
Other Arrests:
August 26th, at 7:58 pm a deputy stopped a vehicle at Grant and North 3rd in Wheeling on a traffic violation. Stop resulted in the arrest of 54-year-old Ezra Alexis Eads of Wheeling for alleged Driving While Revoked and Driving While Intoxicated prior offender.
August 28th, about 1:32 a.m. LCSO checked a vehicle at Second and Washington Streets in Chillicothe and arrested 38-year-old Charles Brandon Collins of Chillicothe on a Missouri Parole warrant with no bond.
September 3rd LCSO extradited 25-year-old Darius Malik Singletary from Blue Springs Police on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Failure to Appear in Court on Excessive Speed, bond set at $750.
