The Chillicothe Middle School girls Softball team beat Cameron 9-8. Chillicothe scored two in the first, four in the second, one in the third and two in the fourth, scoring nine runs off nine hits.
At the plate the Lady Hornets were led by Landry Marsh with a triple and two singles, Hope Donoho with a double and single, Kenzie Fleener with a double, Bryleigh Gillespie, Jaiden Rodenberg and Maicee Albrecht each with a single.
Donoho and Marsh both pitched, teaming up to allow 8 runs off 6 hits with four strike outs.
