The Chillicothe Board of Adjustments will consider two variances when they meet on October 4th. The meeting will begin at 5:30 pm in Council Chambers at City Hall. Two public hearings are planned.
The first is for a variance to allow Midwest Sign to install a pylon sign at 601 Business 36. The request is to allow a sign with a maximum height of 51 feet. The City allows a maximum of 40 feet.
The second public hearing is for a variance to allow enlarging an existing detached garage to be expanded to 816 square feet. The maximum allowed by code is 720 square feet. The request is from Mike and Tina Still at 919 Calhoun.
