The Chillicothe Hornets rolled up their biggest score of the season in a 48 to 7 win at Cameron in a Midland Empire Conference game.
The Hornets scored first on a 13-play 80 yard drive in the first quarter that ended with a Gage Leamer 16 yard run and a 7-0 lead.
After the Hornets defense forced a Cameron Punt, Javon Kille returned it 42 yards to the end zone for a 14-0 lead.
Chillicothe scored again in the final seconds of the first half on a Cayden Potter 4-yard run for a 21-0 halftime lead.
Cameron scored on their opening drive of the second half on an 11-play drive, but Chillicothe responded with a Braxton Johnson touchdown run, a Silas Midgyett 16-yard score, a Corbin Rodenberg 13-yard touchdown and a Kille-12 yard touchdown run in the final minute of the game for a 48-7 win.
The Hornets are now 3-1 overall and 1-1 in conference play.
