The Grand River Chapter of Ducks Unlimited in Chillicothe celebrated 50 years with their banquet on Saturday. This included a special declaration presented by Chillicothe Mayor Teresa Kelly.
Grand River DU Chair Adam Crouch says it was a successful evening with a good turnout for the event. He says the evening was a milestone.
Those Charter members include Ken Lauhoff, Tim Reager, and Bill Wehrle.
Crouch says the funds raised, including more than $10,000 in the live auction, are used locally and across the state.
The banquet includes the youth, participating in games, drawings, and even an auction where the Greenwings were doing the bidding.
