The Chillicothe 8th grade Football team played a combined group of Brookfield 7th and 8th grade players to an 8-8 tie.
For Chillicothe, Jack Marshall scored the touchdown with “Hubby” Ralls running the two point conversion for the Hornets.
The same group of Brookfield players then took on the Chillicothe 7th grade team for two quarters. Brookfield won the contest 14 to 0.
The Chillicothe Middle School softball team beat Brookfield 20 to 2. Half of the CMS runs came in the top of the first inning of the three innings game.
Landry Marsh had a strong game with three hits including a home run and triple, five RBI and four runs scored plus picked up the win in the circle with no walks, four strike outs and allowed just two hits. Charley Penniston also had a home run and Bryleigh Gillespie had a triple in the game.
