The Chillicothe Middle School softball team won two games on Saturday.
The Middle School Lady Hornets beat Macon 28-1. CMS made quick work of Macon, scoring 13 runs in the first inning, six in the second and nine in the third inning. CMS had 13 hits and 17 walks, and held Macon middle school to just one hit.
In the second game, they lost a close game to Chester Boren middle school of Centralia 6 to 5. Chillicothe led 5 to 4 after four innings but gave up 2 runs in the bottom of the fifth and final inning.
