Another Chillicothe softball game, another double-digit victory. This time Penney of Hamilton was the latest victim in a 19-2 Chillicothe win.
Chillicothe opened up a close 1-0 game with a ten-run third inning, a three run fourth inning and a five run fifth inning.
Chillicothe had 23 hits in the game and held Hamilton to just three hits.
Hadley Beemer had a triple and a double for CHS, Sophia Luetticke a double and two singles, Mika Hibner with three singles, Kinlei Boley, Jolie Bonderer, Katelynn Fleener all had a double and a single, Hope Helton had a double, Kirsten Dunn and Halle Rucker had two singles each. Collecting one single each were Adra Stretch, Dawson Lightner, Bre Pithan, and Isabelle Fitzpatrick each had a single.
Boley had the start in the circle with Beemer in relief. the two combined to allow two runs off three hits with eight strike outs and just one walk.
The Chillicothe JV team also beat Hamilton 5 to 2.
