The Chillicothe Boys Soccer team beat Knob Noster 4 to 1. Chace Corbin started the scoring in the 26th minute off a Ben Cueni-Smith assist.
In the Second Half Knob Noster tied the score in the 42nd minute, but the Hornets took the lead for good in the 53rd minute with a Jackson Reeter goal and the second assist for Cueni-Smith.
Nine minutes later Drake Cosgrove scored from a Jaden Collins assist and Chace Corbin finished the scoring in the 66th minute on a corner kick and a Drake Cosgrove assist.
Hornets Goalkeeper Jaxon Albertson had seven saves.
Coach Tim Cunningham called it a solid team effort. He said the defensive backs played as a unit and the diversified attack gave them several scoring opportunities.
He said the infielders transitioned well from the attack to defense, which helped the Hornets maintain possession.
