With one conference game to go, the Chillicothe Softball team is guaranteed at least a share of the MEC crown thanks to a 15-0 win in two-and-a-half innings at St. Pius X.
Chillicothe improved to 23-3 with yet another lopsided win, and only Bishop LeBlond stands in the way of another Chillicothe undefeated MEC title.
Chillicothe was hot early with eight runs in the bottom of the first and seven in the bottom of the second. The 15 runs came off of just 11 hits, all of them singles.
Pius managed just one hit in their three innings of play.
Hope Helton and Kirsten Dunn both had two singles. Kinlei Boley, Halle Rucker and Katelynn Fleener took turns pitching with seven strike outs and no walks.
