The Chillicothe Police Department report for Wednesday includes 110 calls for service. Some of the calls include:
12:57 am, Officers responded to the 1000 block of Graves Street on a report of damage done to a vehicle. Officers arrested a 23-year-old suspect for Tampering with a motor vehicle and Domestic Assault. That person was processed and later released with citations.
8:10 am, Officer at PD continued investigation into vehicle crash that occurred previously at Webster and Washington Street.
9:29 am, School Resource Officer in the 1500 block of Calhoun Street checking a report of property damage. Investigation continuing.
2:42 pm, Officers responded to the 400 block of Washington Street for a disturbance. When officers arrived the male suspect had already left the area. Officers identified the suspect and will be seeking charges of Trespass.
4:23 pm, Officer investigated a possible sexual offense. Officers are gathering information and the investigation is ongoing.
4:48 pm, Officer assisted the Sheriff’s Department on a juvenile that was running away from home in Dawn and was now at the Law Enforcement Center.
6:43 pm, A 23-year-old subject was arrested by Grundy County authorities on a Livingston County arrest warrant for Theft of a Firearm from a location in Chillicothe and transported to the Law Enforcement Center. The suspect was taken to the Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail. Bond is set at $25,000.00 Cash only bond.
7:29 pm, Officers responded to a vehicle crash on Gilbert Road as a northbound tractor-trailer struck low hanging power lines, damaging utility poles and power transformers. Driver and Company information was obtained for a report. Chillicothe Municipal Utilities were on scene for repair.
