A missed two-point conversion was the difference in the Chillicothe Homecoming Football Game. The Lafayette Irish beat Chillicothe 35 to 34.
The Hornets led 28 to 14 late in the second quarter before Lafayette scored twice in the final two minutes of the first half and scored again in the third to lead 35 to 28.
With under three minutes left in the game Chillicothe’s Cayden Potter scored from two yards out, but the Hornets came up a yard short in the two-point conversion attempt.
